Recently, our highly experienced, licensed and bonded team were excited to work on a pool deck remodel at a beautiful home in Gold Canyon. Gold Canyon is a unique, growing community just outside of Phoenix, located near the Superstition Mountain Wilderness, at the foothills of Superstition Mountain. Members of the community benefit from many golf courses and beautiful homes, built since 2000.
This project included a pool deck remodel, and the installation of a beehive fireplace and barbeque area. All of these features work together successfully to create a unique, stylish, and usable space for outdoor living and entertaining. Our clients selected concha shellstone pavers helping to contribute to the overall gorgeous, luxurious end result that complements the classic design of their pool.

Recently our team was excited to work on a beautiful geometric shaped pool in Queen Creek, Arizona where travertine is truly the star of the show! The straight lines of the pool and adjoining raised hot tub are perfectly complimented by the customer’s choice of grey tone travertine pavers. Everything works together to create a modern design that will last for many years to come and add value to the home.
Travertine is natural limestone, that works perfectly for pool decks. Each individual paving stone is unique, and the stone itself is much easier to maintain and upkeep than some other natural stones. One of the things that our customers love most about travertine pavers and their pool decks is the warmth and depth of the color and tones in the travertine. The stone creates a luxurious custom look and is a great choice for Arizona pool decks.
The pool deck area often occupies a large portion of any backyard, so how it looks really represents the overall look of the home. An old pool deck in need of repair can devalue a home, and more importantly make it difficult to enjoy your outdoor space. Alternatively, a well designed and expertly installed pool deck, that complements your home, can bring comfort and opportunities for outdoor entertaining with family and friends, while adding value should you ever sell. Therefore, it is always a good idea to invest time in selecting the best design and materials, and the best company to remodel or install your pool deck.
Our Imagine team recently worked on a project in Phoenix, Arizona that included a pool deck remodel and patio remodel. We were excited that the homeowners selected an acrylic lace coating to resurface their pool deck and Boulevard Light travertine pavers for the patio remodel. Combining materials to create a unique, custom look is always fun.
Let’s start with the basics. The pool deck is the area that surrounds your pool. This area can vary greatly in size and shape, depending upon the pool, the backyard, and any existing landscaping. For some pools the pool deck can be extensive, including the location of a diving board, any slides, space for sun loungers and chairs, and perhaps an outdoor kitchen with built-in barbeque and kitchen area.
The main star of this recent project is undoubtedly the gorgeous marbella stone pavers that create a luxurious, timeless looking pool deck that these homeowners will enjoy for many many years to come.
Do you have a tired, old pool deck that could use some new life, repairs, and a fresh look? Or perhaps you have moved into a new home with an old pool deck or one that doesn’t match your style? Decorative concrete may be your solution!
This was a really enjoyable project for our team. It was an opportunity to create a modern classic concrete look for a patio remodel here in Phoenix, Arizona. The backyard already had many great features, including tall white washed brick walls, and an interesting layout. Our team worked specifically on pouring a natural broom finish concrete patio and step pads throughout the backyard area, creating an extremely stylish and functional outdoor living space.
This was a really fun 1,100 square foot backyard patio remodel, creating a very contemporary look for our clients in Tempe, Arizona. Our team of licensed and bonded pool deck and patio experts worked on the majority of the backyard area, creating a show-stopping acrylic stamp patio that will live on for many years to come, providing comfort and joy to all who live there.
A large area of this patio is covered, and the patio reaches right to the walls of the home. On a project like this, it is essential that our team takes the time and has the expertise to ensure the area is well prepared and any potential drainage areas are addressed, prior to remodeling the patio. Often a patio that is being remodeled may be many years old, there may be areas of damage, and uneven surfaces. Therefore it is important to fix any big cracks or damage, and to level the area so it is well prepared for the patio remodel.
